Instructions to Make Chana Koliwada:

  • Soak chickpeas overnight.
  • Boil overnight-soaked chickpeas for 1-2 whistles, then strain them.
  • Take a bowl, add mustard oil, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, salt, and a little water and make a paste.
  • Remember to add the ginger-garlic chilli paste.
  • Coat the boiled chickpeas with cornflour and chickpea flour.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry the coated chickpeas.
  • Add a few garlic cloves for extra flavor and fun.
  • Finally, sprinkle chaat masala on the hot, fried chickpeas.
