  • 1 sprig of curry leaves

Method:

  • Begin by draining and soaking the poha in water for 10-15 minutes. This helps soften the flattened rice and makes it easier to cook.
  • Heat the peanut oil in a kadai (wok) and add the turmeric powder, dal mixture, red chillies, and green chillies. Stir well to combine the flavours.
  • Add the peanuts and curry leaves to the kadai, mixing them with the other ingredients.
  • Gently mix in the soaked poha, ensuring it's evenly coated with the spices and oil.
  • Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the poha, adding a zesty flavour that also aids in iron absorption.
  • Season with salt according to your taste preferences.
