  • 4 tbsp coriander seeds (sukha dhaniya)
  • 2 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 5-6 dried red chillies
  • 1 tbsp black pepper (kali mirch)
  • 1-2 pieces star anise (chakraful)
  • 3-4 bay leaves (tej patta)
  • 4-5 pieces cinnamon (dal chini)
  • 1 tsp cloves (laung)
  • 1 ½ tbsp kasuri methi
  • 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp rock salt (kala namak)
  • 1 tsp hing (asafoetida)
  • 1 tsp ginger powder (sonth powder)

How to make Sabji Masala?

  • In a pan, add dhaniya, jeera, red chillies, black pepper, chakraful, bay leaves, dal chini and cloves
  • In a pan, dry roast dhaniya, jeera, chillies, black pepper, star anise, bay leaves, cinnamon, and cloves for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  • Let the mixture cool completely.
  • Add it to a mixer jar along with the remaining ingredients.
  • Grind everything into a fine powder.
