Ingredient list:

For Kurma Paste:

  • Half fresh coconut or 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 30 cashews
  • 1 tbsp Chana dal
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tbsp Fennel seeds
  • 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 green chillies
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1-inch ginger
  • 5 peppercorns
  • 2 black cloves
  • 2 tbsp Poppy seeds ( khas khas )
  • Add a little water to make a smooth paste

For Curry: 

  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp Red chili powder
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1/2 cup cauliflower
  • 1 small potato
  • Water as per requirement
  • Salt as per taste
  • Some chopped coriander.

Note:- After adding kurma paste, cook it for 5-10 mins on low flame, then add in other ingredients.
