Sangram Singh Refutes Divorce Rumors With Payal Rohatgi: "I Do Not Pay Attention To These Talks..."

Sangram Singh has reacted to divorce rumors with Pagal Rohatgi. He has issued an official statement and put all the rumours to rest. He clarified that there is no trouble in his married life and expressed that he and Payal will always be together.

Sangram Singh Refutes Divorce Rumors:

“There is no talk of divorce between us. We have been together for 14 years and will always be. I keep all my focus on doing good work. I do not pay attention to these talks of divorce, and I will also request her not to believe in such rumors," Sangram Singh said.

Rumors of Sangram Singh and Payal Rohatgi's divorce made headlines after the latter resigned from the post of director of the Sangram Singh Charitable Foundation. Talking about Payal's decision, Sangram added, “This is Payal ji's decision, and I respect her decision. Both of us have different approaches to work. In such a situation, whatever Payal ji must have thought, she must have done it for the better. I wouldn't stop her. She is free to make her own decisions. There is no one wrong here. Every person is different".

Back in December 2024, a video of the couple also went viral in which Payal was seen having a heated argument with Sangram Singh. In the video, she accused him of mistreating her for not being able to conceive a child. She also criticised his family for holding regressive views on women, alleging they believed women were only meant to cook, bear children, and remain in a ghunghat.

Payal was heard saying, “Tumhare ghar mein aurato ke sath aise baat ki jaati hai. Tum log padhe-likhe nahi ho theek hai, par aise baat ki jaati hai." She also warned Sangram to never again taunt her about not becoming a mother.

Payal and Sangram tied the knot on July 9, 2022, in an intimate ceremony in Agra after dating for several years.
