Gobi Paneer Ka Cheela: A Healthier Alternative

Gobi Paneer Ka Cheela is made with cauliflower (gobi), paneer, and besan (gram flour). It is light on the tummy but full of flavour. You don't need to knead dough or roll out parathas. Just mix, cook, and enjoy!

Ingredients You Will Need

  • 1 cauliflower (gobi)
  • Handful of coriander with stem
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 2 green chillies
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • ¼ cup paneer, grated
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • ½ tsp dry mint powder
  • ½ cup besan (gram flour)
  • 2-3 tbsp water

Easy Method to Prepare

  • Add gobi, coriander, green chilies, ginger, pepper, fennel seeds, and cumin seeds to a chopper and grind coarsely.
  • Transfer this mixture to a bowl. Add grated paneer, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, dry mint powder, besan, and water. Mix well into a batter.
  • Heat a pan. Pour some batter to form a cheela. Cook on both sides till golden brown.
  • Serve hot with chutney or curd. Enjoy!
