Indian foodies have a soft spot in their hearts for vada pav, but Sweet potatoes may replace the potatoes in the traditional Vada Pav, turning them into a healthful treat. This is the secret revealed by culinary inventor Pavitra Kaur. Assemble your ingredients and get the sweet potato combination ready to start your culinary journey. 

Sweet Potato Vada Pao Recipe:

Sweet potatoes should be boiled, peeled, and mashed. Gram flour should be combined with water, salt, and carom seeds to make a smooth batter. In the meantime, mix the garlic, ginger, chili, coriander, salt, and lemon juice to make a zesty green chutney.

Heat the oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida, and the chutney to temper it. Season with garam masala, turmeric, and salt. Allow the flavors to melt together by adding the fresh coriander and mashed sweet potatoes. 

After the mixture cools, form it into balls. Fry sliced green chilies until crispy and golden brown for an added burst of heat. Next, make red chutney by combining whole garlic with Kashmiri red chili powder and salt after cooking it in besan chura.
