Earlier, claiming PF required uploading a cancelled cheque or passbook copy to verify your bank details. Now, if your bank account is linked with your UAN (Universal Account Number), your name is auto-verified directly from the bank.

2. Link Bank Account Without Employer Approval

Previously, you needed your employer's approval to link your bank account to your PF account. That's no longer needed.
