On Cam: 23-Year-Old Influencer Shot Dead In Public

An Ecuadorian Influencer, Landy Parraga Goyburo was shot dead at a restaurant. Reports suggest that the attackers were able to track her location because of an Instagram story that she had shared right before the incident.  

Here's What We Know So far:

Just before her death, Landy had shared her picture savoring ‘octopus ceviche' for lunch at a restaurant. Two armed men attacked the influencer while she was still at the venue. According to rumors floating on different social media sites, it is possible that this murder was planned by the widow of a drug lord who allegedly had an affair with the influencer. 

The murder of Landy Parraga was captured on surveillance cameras in and around the restaurant she was visiting. Based on the retrieved footage, two men can be seen barging through the restaurant doors where Landy was enjoying lunch with a friend though these men are yet to be identified. Things turned topsy-turvy at the restaurant as the two men started firing. Other customers at the eatery took cover under tables while the influencer and another person could not manage to do so.

Despite the chaos, the 23-year-old's attempt to seek refuge proved futile as one of the gunmen mercilessly fired at her. The attackers then made their escape, leaving behind a scene of horror and disbelief. Images captured in the aftermath depict Goyburo, a former beauty queen, lying in a pool of blood.
