Recent news of a 23-Year-Old Influencer being shot dead in public has left the influencer industry shocked. 

Social media influencer Landy Parraga was killed after two armed men fired at her in broad daylight. Reportedly this happened after she revealed her whereabouts on her social media profile. 

While we all know social media can be a boon, it can be a bane too, at times. Life-threatening in this case.

Here are some things you can keep in mind if you are a social media personality or someone fond of content creation. 

• Do not reveal your location to anyone. It's always advisable to post after that particular event is over and you are back home. 
• Do not share too much of your personal life on social media platforms. 
• Do not share school details, personal details, or even photos of children. It can be misused. 
• Do not post Offensive and troll-type comments. 
• Do not post Inappropriate photos or videos of yourself or others. You can come under Instagram scrutiny.
• Do not post false or inaccurate information about anyone or any news-related event. 
• Do not post unrealistic imagery of your lifestyle. Practice responsible content creation.
