Momos is mostly loved by all. But we are also aware of the health implications that momos have. Keeping in mind we look for a healthier version. So, we are here to solve that for you. Meghna Kamdar has shared a very interesting and delightful recipe of Ragi Momos with instant Asian dip. You can add this to your weight loss recipe collection as well. Giving a Healthy & Nutritious twist to Momos with Ragi and Wheat Flour. It's steamed so no use of oil. This recipe is also served with an Asian Dip made from a few ingredients - a much better option than mayonnaise. Yes, making momos is a long process. But if you give it a Ragi twist and make this kind of a dip, then it's all worth it.

Method:

For Dough:-

  • In a mixing bowl, take 1/2 cup Ragi Flour
  • Add 1/2 cup Wheat Flour
  • Add a pinch of Salt
  • Add Water as required to knead a soft dough

For stuffing:-

  • In a mixing bowl, take finely chopped Carrot, French Beans and Cabbage
  • Add finely chopped Green Chillis, Ginger, Spring Onion & Coriander
  • Add Paneer (crushed with hands)
  • Add Salt to taste
  • Add crushed Black Pepper
  • Mix it and keep it aside
  • Further dust some Ragi Flour on the kitchen platform
  • Take a dough ball and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin
  • Cut circles from the flattened roti
  • Fill the stuffing in it and fold the wrapper into half circle
  • Lift the edges and them together
  • Brush a little Oil on the steamer
  • Place momos in it
  • Steam them for 15 min

For Dip:-

  • In a small bowl, take Soya Sauce
  • Dilute with Water
  • Add 1 spoon of Vinegar
  • Add 1 spoon of Brown Sugar
  • Add chopped Coriander and Green Chillis
  • Add roasted White Sesame Seeds
  • Mix it well
  • Take Momos on a serving plate
  • Enjoy Scrumptious Ragi Momos with Soya Dip.

This recipe is must try if you are a momos lover but health-conscious as well.
