A Day in Pushkar with Kanika Mittal

Pushkar is famously known as the Rose Garden in Rajasthan. You can start your morning by visiting the Divine Brahma Sarovar- Asia's largest man-made pond. Take a dip in the holy water followed by the seeking blessings from Brahma temple. It's a known fact that Brahma came down upon earth to perform a yajna and chose this site for his temple. This is the only Brahma temple in the world making it unique among all the sacred places in India.

A Journey Through Culture and Cuisine:

Don't get fooled by the various guides waiting to give you a tour of the place. You can visit the place anytime between 6 am and 8 pm and closes from 1.30 pm- 3 pm. So plan your visit accordingly.

Another popular destination that you can visit is Ajmer Shareef Dargah. Ajmer is situated around 20 kilometers from Pushkar. You can easily cover this distance in 40-45 minutes. The holiest Shrine of Muslims is open to all faiths and religions. People across the world including women visit to worship this sacred place and offer chaadar to the shrine. You may visit the shrine anytime between 5 am - 9 pm.

After a long day of Darshan, relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset over delectable food at the Rooftop cafe of Rawai Resort.

Their Chili Paneer and noodles are a must to try. You can also enjoy a camel, or ATV safari to complete your desert trip. This safari normally takes an hour to complete.
