Sufi Motiwala is quickly becoming a popular name in the entertainment world, thanks to his growing presence on social media and now, OTT platforms. He is currently seen in the Amazon Prime Video show “Do You Wanna Partner” alongside Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty. In an exclusive interview, Sufi shared his journey, experiences, and the challenges he faces as an influencer and actor.
From Instagram Fashion Star to Actor
“I'm very excited to be here,” said Sufi, reflecting on how his Instagram fashion page helped shape him into the performer he is today.
“My Instagram page, where I share fashion and lifestyle content, is a big part of who I am. I think it will always stay with me, although the way I speak and present content may change over time,” he added.
Acting Journey: A Story of Hard Work
Sufi believes acting is not about luck but about consistent hard work.
“‘Do You Wanna Partner' is the first show I signed in my life. After that, I worked on ‘Traitors.' I'm curious to see how difficult it will be to get more roles after this show,” he explained.
Special Role in “Do You Wanna Partner”
Sufi plays Firdaus, the younger brother of Diana Penty's character in the show.
“In the story, Diana and Tamannaah play best friends trying to build a beer brand. They often hang out at our house, and I play the youngest sibling who helps them understand whether their business ideas are right or wrong,” Sufi explained.
Working with Diana Penty: A Great Experience
“My time working with Diana Penty was amazing. It felt like spending 30 days with best friends. I learned so much from her—especially about patience, dedication, and always giving 100%,” said Sufi.

The Biggest Fear: Staying Relevant
Sufi admitted that his biggest fear is peaking too early in his career.
“My biggest fear is that I peak at 21 and don't get opportunities later. I need to keep reinventing myself every year and show new sides of my life so that people stay interested,” he said.
Style Inspirations
When asked about his style icons, Sufi shared,
“The most stylish celebrity right now is Lara Raj from Catseye. But I have always been biased towards Rekha Ji and Jhanvi Kapoor.
And in Bollywood, my loyalty is with Salman Khan. My father is a huge fan, so we grew up loving Salman Khan,” he added.
Future Plans: More Content and Writing
Looking ahead, Sufi wants to continue making creative content and improve as an actor.
“My plan is to keep creating interesting content on Instagram while auditioning for more acting roles. I also love writing—especially poetry and stories,” he shared.
