Mahhi Vij Reveals She Refused Alimony From Jay Bhanushali; Says, "It's His Hard-Earned Money..."

Mahhi Vij got emotional in the latest episode of 'Bigg Boss 20' as she opened up about her daughter Tara, financial independence and her decision to refuse alimony from her ex-husband Jay Bhanushali. The actress spoke about raising her daughter and working towards securing her future on her own.

Mahhi Opens Up About Life As A Single Mother:

During an emotional conversation, Mahhi shared how much of her life revolves around Tara. She also revealed that she chose not to accept alimony during her divorce proceedings.

“I am a single mother. I know how my day goes. Jay pushes me to go out and live my life. He says, ‘You go out, you don't go anywhere. You sit at home for Tara'. My life revolves around my child. Do you know? I did not take a single alimony. I do everything on my own so that my child's life is secure."

Why Mahhi Refused Alimony:

Mahhi revealed that the judge asked her several times to reconsider her decision, but she remained firm. She explained that she considers Jay's earnings the result of his hard work.

“But still, I don't ask for money from anyone, neither Jay. I think it's his hard earned money. I was standing in the court, and the judge asked me four times to take the alimony. I didn't take it. I have seen Jay has earned it."

She further clarified that Jay never stopped her from taking anything and has always been supportive. “Not that he has asked me not to take anything. I know his entire locker is open for me. But still. I don't think so. He has worked hard. He has been standing on sets, working for 16 hours. It's his hard-earned money."

Argument With Arishfa Turns Emotional:

The conversation came after Mahhi's disagreement with Arishfa. Mahhi had supported Qazi during his fight with Arishfa, leading to tension between the two. Mahhi said she wanted to resolve their differences calmly and had always looked at Arishfa like her own daughter Tara. However, she felt repeatedly disrespected by the social media influencer.

While sharing her feelings, Mahhi broke down in tears. Yung, Asif and Scout were seen comforting her as she struggled to contain her emotions.
