What inspired you to start creating content on Instagram?

Honestly, the biggest inspiration was simply my urge to try something new. During COVID, when everything slowed down, and I suddenly had a lot of free time at home, I felt a little idle and thought, “Why not experiment?” I began posting random dance videos with no plan, no strategy, just for fun.

As life moved forward and college began, my content naturally shifted toward college‑life videos. From there, the journey kept evolving, and so did I.

How would you describe your personal aesthetic in three words?

Warm, creative, and real. My aesthetic is all about capturing everyday moments and emotions in a slightly artistic, thoughtful way. Nothing overly curated, just honest, relatable, expressive.

What type of content do you enjoy making the most right now?

Right now, I'm really enjoying creating concept-driven videos, the kind that challenge me. I love formats that involve planning, research, props, and a bit of problem‑solving.

For example, the recent Holi video where I blended dance, acting, and even cooking. I loved the entire process, from the initial spark of an idea to executing every tiny detail. Creating things I don't usually see others doing excites me the most.

Which moment in your creative career felt like a breakthrough?

My breakthrough moment was giving my first TEDx talk last year. Standing on that stage and sharing my journey made everything feel real. It was a quiet confirmation that I'm on the right path.

For the first time, I felt seen and heard beyond social media, and that moment made me truly believe that my work and voice matter. It felt like my personal “I made it” moment.

What's one thing about your creative process that people don't see on Instagram?

A lot, actually. People don't see the storyboarding, the part where I sit and visualize scenes, write them down, plan transitions, and map out the flow.

They don't see the hours spent searching for the perfect audio.

And another huge part of my process is simply observing people, conversations, and little real-life moments. That's where many of my ideas come from.

How do you keep your ideas fresh and relatable for your audience?

I believe in consuming more than I create. Not just content, but reading, listening, and observing. When you keep filling your mind, your creativity stays fresh. Only when your cup is full can you create consistently and meaningfully.

What's one trend you absolutely love, and one you wish would disappear?

I absolutely love the trend where creators reconnect with their culture, especially those powerful, gothic-Indian transition videos. They feel so personal and rooted. One trend I wish would disappear. Blindly copying what's viral. I think adding your own twist should always matter more than following a trend for the sake of it.

What's a small daily habit that helps you stay creative?

Either journaling or reading. Both help me slow down, think clearly, and stay connected to my thoughts.

Which brand or creator would you love to collaborate with someday?

Definitely Netflix. I resonate deeply with storytelling, and that space excites me immensely.

What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone who wants to start creating today?

Just start. Don't overthink it. Post consistently, observe what's happening around you, stay adaptable, and keep sharpening your skills. You'll learn and figure things out along the way.
