Mannara Chopra Resumes Work After Father's Demise; Says "Thank You For Your Support"

Mannara Chopra has resumed work post her father's demise. She took to her Instagram handle on Thursday to issue her first statement after the death of her father in June this year. She expressed gratitude towards all who supported her during this difficult time and revealed that she has resumed working now.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you've shown to me and my family during these tough times. Resuming work now, with gratitude in my heart," her statement read. The post has garnered lots of attention, and her fans have given her heartfelt wishes and asked to "be strong".

Mannara Chopra's father passed away on June 16. He was 72. She shared the news of her father's passing via an Instagram Story. Her post read, “With profound grief and sorrow, we inform you of the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family." His last rites were held on June 18 in Mumbai.

Priyanka Chopra Mourned the Demise:

Following the death of Mannara's father, her cousin and global star Priyanka Chopra also mourned the death of her paternal uncle. “You'll always be in our hearts. Rest easy, Raman uncle (fufaji). Om Shanti," PeeCee wrote on her Insta stories.

Besides this, Meera Chopra also extended her condolences over the passing of Raman Rai Handa. During an event, she told Instant Bollywood, “Yes, I just got to know about the news a few minutes ago when I entered the event. Vicky (Jain) told me about his demise. I knew he was admitted to the hospital, but Vicky shared the news about his demise. He was fine, so I don't know what exactly happened. I will go after this and find out. It is very sad. I think losing a parent – nothing can be worse than that. I know Mannara, Mitali dono unse bahot close thi. It was a very close-knit family, do betiyan thi and mom, and dad. It's very sad."

A prayer meet was also held for Mannara's father in New Delhi.
