Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups of cleaned moringa leaves
  • 1 tbsp chana dal
  • 1 tbsp Urad dal
  • 4-5 dry red chillies
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 5-6 shallots
  • 2-3 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1 sprig of curry leaves
  • 1 small piece of tamarind
  • Salt as per taste
  • 2 tsp oil

Method: 

  • Make sure to clean the moringa leaves well.
  • Start by cooking dal in the oil with dry red chillies, garlic, curry leaves, grated coconut, and moringa leaves.
  • Once the leaves are cooked, add salt and tamarind.
  • Grind it into a smooth or coarse paste.
  • Pair it with hot rice and ghee.
