Anurag Dobhal Health Update: YouTuber in ICU After Instagram Live Crash

YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, who shared a two-hour-long video on his YouTube channel talking about his mental health, has now shared a health update. A recent video shared by one of his friends shows the YouTuber in a hospital emergency room. In the video, he can be seen conscious and aware of his surroundings, and talking to his friends.

Anurag Dobhal Met with an Accident:

This comes after the YouTuber went live on his Instagram and broke down. He had previously posted emotional videos alleging family conflict and mental harassment, and had spoken publicly about his mental health struggles.

Following the crash, the content creator sustained injuries and was immediately taken to a hospital, where he is currently under medical observation.

Manager Shares Health Update:

On Sunday morning, Anurag Dobhal's manager Rohit Panday shared an update about the YouTuber's condition on Instagram. According to him, Dobhal has been admitted to the ICU while doctors continue to monitor his health.

In a statement posted on Instagram, Rohit wrote, “Update: Close friends, Bhabhi, and her family are currently at the hospital with him. He is still under observation. Please do not spread rumours or misinformation. Also, let's not target or spread hate towards anyone at this time. We are monitoring the situation. Let's all pray for him and hope for his speedy recovery."

The manager also confirmed that Dobhal's wife, Ritika Chauhan Dobhal, and her family have been visiting him in the hospital.

Accident Happened During Instagram Live

According to a report by The Times of India, the accident took place around 10:20 pm while Anurag Dobhal was travelling from Meerut to Delhi. More than 80,000 viewers were reportedly watching his Instagram Live when the accident occurred.

A police official told the publication that Dobhal's SUV crashed near Hawa Hawai Restaurant, hit the divider, and then swerved into the opposite lane. The car reportedly flipped several times during the incident. Before the crash, the YouTuber was reportedly seen crying during the live broadcast. He also told his parents that in the next life, he only wanted love and described the road trip as his “final drive."

Reports Claim Father Has Disowned Him:

According to several reports, his father has allegedly issued a declaration in a local newspaper stating that he has disowned Anurag and his wife, Ritika Chauhan Dobhal.

The notice reportedly reads, “I hereby declare that my son Anurag Dobhal and my daughter-in-law Ritika Chauhan Dobhal, disinherit all my movable and immovable property. They will be responsible for any future actions or transactions undertaken by them; my family and I will have no responsibility. Jagdamba Prasad Dobhal, son of the late Narayan Dutt Dobhal."

Earlier Family Dispute:

Just days before the accident, Anurag Dobhal had uploaded a two-hour vlog discussing his strained relationship with his family. In the video, he accused his parents and brother Kalam Ink (Atul Dobhal) of mental torture and made a disturbing claim about his situation. “In case I die, it will be these four people who should be blamed." As of now, Dobhal remains under medical observation.
