YouTuber Purav Jha Alleges Threats From Elvish Yadav's Fans, Says He Took Break From X

Popular YouTuber Purav Jha, known for mimicking singers, actors, and social media influencers, has alleged that he was forced to take a two month break from X, formerly known as Twitter, after receiving disturbing threats online. According to Purav, the hate came from fans of fellow YouTuber Elvish Yadav.

The issue started when Elvish Yadav's fans requested Purav to mimic Elvish's acting style. Reacting to the request on his Instagram Stories, Purav clarified that he is not Elvish Yadav. However, this response reportedly triggered massive trolling from Elvish's fan base across social media platforms.

Purav Jha Opens Up About Online Trolling

In an interview, Purav opened up about the online abuse he faced. Sharing his experience, he said, “Bohot troll kiya hai. Woh log Twitter par bohot zyada active hain, isliye maine Twitter uninstall kar diya tha.”

He further explained how the negativity initially affected him. “Pehle main negative cheezon par dhyan deta tha, lekin agar life mein aage badhna hai aur kaam karna hai, toh log bolenge,” Purav said, adding that people often speak when they see someone growing.

Talking about the threats, Purav revealed that his Twitter notifications were constantly filled with abusive and alarming messages. “Mera Twitter hamesha notifications se baj raha tha—koi bol raha tha, ‘Yeh kar denge, woh kar denge, terko ghar aake maarenge, tu dogla hai,'” he shared.

He said the situation became overwhelming, forcing him to take a step back for his mental peace. “Isliye maine seedha Twitter uninstall kar diya aur apne kaam aur art par focus kiya,” Purav added.

As of now, Elvish Yadav has not reacted to Purav Jha's claims.

Elvish Yadav's Recent Work

Meanwhile, Elvish Yadav is currently seen as a gang leader on 'Roadies XX'. The reality show is in its 20th season and marks the return of Rannvijay Singha as host after a three year gap. Neha Dhupia has also returned as a gang leader.

The show also features Prince Narula and Rhea Chakraborty, who won the previous season, alongside newcomer Elvish Yadav. Roadies XX is available to stream on MTV and JioCinema.
