Sunita Ahuja Clarifies Divorce Rumours With Govinda: "Chahe Upar Se Bhagwan Aa Jaaye..."

Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been in the headlines due to rumours surrounding their marriage. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the couple made their first appearance together as they welcomed Ganpati Bappa home. While addressing the media, Sunita spoke about the growing rumours and confirmed that everything is fine between them, adding that no one can separate the two.

Sunita Ahuja Clarifies Divorce Rumours With Govinda:

Speaking to the media, as quoted by HT, Sunita said, “Aaj itna close, close… agar kuch hota toh hum itne nazdeek hotey? Humaari dooriyan hoti! Koi hum dono ko alag nahi kar sakta hain, chahe upar se koi aa jaaye bhagwan aa jaaye, koi shaitaan aa jaaye. Koi nahi alag kar sakta hai. (If something had happened, would we be so close today? There would have been a distance between us. No one can separate us, not even if God or a devil comes down.)"

"My Govinda Is Only Mine..."

She further added, “Ek picture tha na ‘Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai', waise hi mera Govinda sirf mera hi hai aur kisi ka nahi hai. Jab tak hum moonh na khole tab tak aap log please koi bhi cheez mein na boliye. (My Govinda is only mine and no one else's. Until we speak up, please don't say anything on this matter)."

About the Divorce Rumours:

Earlier this month, a Hauterrfly report claimed that Sunita Ahuja had filed for divorce from Govinda under Section 13 (1)(i), (ia), (ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. The report alleged that the court had summoned Govinda on May 25 and, since June, the two had been trying to work things out. While Sunita reportedly attended court hearings, Govinda was said to have been missing.
In one of her recent vlogs, Sunita Ahuja also addressed the divorce rumours. She visited a temple where, while speaking to the priest, she said she had been visiting Mahalaxmi Mandir since childhood.

Breaking down in tears, she added, “When I met Govinda, I prayed to the Goddess that I should get married to him and have a good life. The Goddess fulfilled all my wishes—she even blessed me with two children. But not every truth in life is easy; there are always ups and downs. Still, I have so much faith in the Goddess that whatever I am witnessing today, I know that whoever tries to break my home, Maa Kaali is there."
