Recently, in a chat with Pinkvilla, she opened up about her food habits and why she has stepped away from the kitchen despite being a skilled cook. “I don't make time to cook anymore. The only thing I cook or bake now is my makeup," she quipped. “When I was around 20 or 21, someone once told me, ‘Your mother didn't teach you to cook,' and I took it personally. So, I learned everything, Chinese, Thai, Indian, even Hyderabadi Biryani."

Shalini Reveals Her Favorite Dish:

While she doesn't cook, she certainly knows what she loves. A self-confessed kadhi-chawal and garlic enthusiast, Passi also swears by her favorite dish, cauliflower salad. She describes it as, “Not your typical healthy salad, it has nuts, black salt, capsicum, greens, avocado, olive oil, and green apple. It's wholesome and delicious."

"I Don't Need Carbs Or Sugar To Feel Good..."

Despite calling herself a foodie, Passi avoids cheat meals, desserts, and even beverages. “I work out a lot. I don't feel the need for sweets, tea, coffee, or alcohol. I have a natural high, so I don't need carbs or sugar to feel good. But if I really crave something, I'll eat it," she admitted.

Her wellness philosophy extends beyond diet and fitness too. Once a yoga enthusiast, Passi now focuses on mindfulness instead. “I stopped practicing yoga and switched to meditation and breathing exercises," she revealed.
