A post of an Australian YouTuber shaming Indian food is going viral on social media. It all started when an X user named Jeff shared a post appreciating Indian cuisine. He shared a picture that had several Indian curries, a rice, and captioned it, "Indian food is the best on earth. Fight me." The post has gained a lot of attention.

However, this became ugly when X user, Dr Sydney Watson, entered the conversation. She re-shared Jeff's post, stating, "It really, really isn't." Also, she added a comment, "If your food requires you to put dirt spices all over it in order for it to be palatable, your food is not good."
Netizens Slam Her:
Her comment didn't go well with netizens and they have slammed her for tarnishing the image of Indian food and mentioned that this is unacceptable. Taking a dig at Australian food, a user wrote, "It is definitely better than Australian food which is the worst English food with kangaroo meat replacing the beef."
Another user called her 'objectively wrong' and commented, "Indian food is delicious, much better tasting than most European food. You are objectively wrong on this one." Giving it back on her species comment, a netizen wrote, "Wars were fought for India's spices. America was founded because of them. At one point, these spices were worth more than their weight in gold."

Liking and disliking something is very subjective. You can express your appreciation or disapproval as per your choice but shaming someone's culture or food on social media is something not at all right. India is known for its traditions, customs, hospitality and food. And for the fact, India's food is loved across the world. Let me know your thoughts on this. Also do mention your favorite Indian dishes in the comment section.
