Now, Jannat's team has issued a statement, claiming that Jannat and her brother Ayaan were subjected to a physical assault and a highway chase in broad daylight on Sunday. They assured fans that both siblings are safe, and that the police are thoroughly investigating the matter.

Currently, the investigation is ongoing, with the police authorities actively looking into the matter. Jannat and Ayaan are safe now. We truly appreciate your concern and are thankful for the constant support. – Team Jannat Zubair," read the statement.

Tannaz Irani commented on the post and wrote, “Omg this is horrible news. Hope everything gets sorted and you get adequate protection. This is indeed scary. Why would anyone want to hurt you? What's wrong with them."
