Akanksha Jindal Clarifies Divorce Timeline with Abhishek Bajaj: "We Parted Ways in 2023, Not Six Years Ago"

'Bigg Boss 19' contestant Abhishek Bajaj's ex-wife, Akanksha Jindal, has opened up about their separation timeline. Addressing the ongoing controversy surrounding their relationship, Akanksha revealed that she and Abhishek parted ways much later than what people had been assuming.

"We Parted Ways On 18th August 2023"

Many viewers believed that Abhishek and Akanksha separated nearly six years ago. However, Akanksha has now set the record straight, confirming that their actual separation took place on 18th August 2023.

In a statement shared online, Akanksha wrote, “For those saying I ‘came after six years' – please, get your facts right. We parted ways on 18th August 2023. You asked for the truth, I gave it. Now suddenly I'm the problem? If only you knew the full story, you wouldn't mock… you'd understand. Truth doesn't shake the innocent — only the guilty feel threatened.”

Her clarification comes shortly after the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, where host Salman Khan made a cryptic remark hinting that Abhishek's ex-wife might be speaking about him outside the house.

During the episode, Salman said, “There are wives, and there are ex-wives too. So, when you reach a certain level of fame and they don't, then in order to come back into the limelight, they will either praise you or open up dangerous boxes of dark secrets, which are now being opened.” Pointing towards Abhishek, he added, “Right, Abhishek? Everyone's past, good and bad, eventually comes out. So, all of you should remember, just as you are interested in Tanya's information, others are equally interested in hearing yours.”

Following the remark, Abhishek Bajaj was later seen discussing the comment with Ashnoor Kaur inside the house. Ashnoor asked Abhishek if he had a PR team working for him outside, to which he replied, “Yes.” She then reassured him, saying, “Bas phir, kya stress hai. Aapki PR team hai bahar, your family is outside. Relax, relax.” (Then why worry? You have your PR team and family outside. Just relax.)

Abhishek nervously asked, “Woh yahan toh nahi aayegi? (She won't come here, right?),” to which Ashnoor responded with a “No.” Curious, she asked, “Is she an actor?” But before Abhishek could answer, Bigg Boss interrupted, asking Ashnoor to wear her mic properly — cutting the conversation short.

For the unversed, Abhishek Bajaj made his film debut with 'Student of the Year 2' in 2019 and later appeared in 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' and 'Babli Bouncer'.
