Netizens Call Out Ajaz Khan's Comments:
On X (formerly known as Twitter), one user expressed his outrage, writing, "Dear @AshwiniVaishnaw Ji @MIB_India, This is all being shown in Indian OTT these days. Name of Show: Arrest House, OTT: Ullu and YouTube. Can you just imagine how much it is harming our society and culture? I request you to bring strong censorship for OTTs and TV channels."
The backlash has been swift, with many accusing the show of undermining societal values and promoting vulgarity. They argue that shows like 'Arrest House' cross the line between entertainment and decency, and demand that stronger regulations be enforced on OTT platforms to prevent the spread of such explicit content. "What is this #cringefest? Who even watches this crap?" asked another user.
Tagging the official X account of Mumbai Police, a user wrote, "Not only does it need to be banned, but also legal action should be taken against such programs."
"This is pathetic. What happened to the families of the girls? High time the government interferes. National Commission for Women should come forward too," read another comment.
