He's got the subscribers, the live stream records and now - India's biggest gaming room. Meet Anshu Bisht, popularly known as GamerFleet, a boy from Haldwani, Uttarakhand who built an entire empire from a second-hand PC and sheer consistency. With millions of subscribers across his YouTube channels and a jaw-dropping 1,30,000 concurrent viewers on a single live stream, Anshu is not just a gamer, he's a phenomenon. And if that wasn't enough, he's just unveiled a fully automated smart home that you absolutely have to see to believe!
In an exclusive conversation with us, he talks about his dream home, his journey, and why he still doesn't plan five years ahead!
You've come from a small town to building your dream home with one of India's biggest gaming rooms. What was the moment you realized your life had truly changed?
I don't think there was one dramatic moment. It was gradual. But I remember standing inside the gaming room when it was almost complete and just looking around quietly. I thought about my old computer in 8th or 9th grade that couldn't even run proper games. That contrast hit me. When I bought my first PC with money I saved from tutoring during college, that felt big. But seeing this space come alive, it felt like everything had come in full circle.
How has your family reacted to seeing the home come together? What does this mean to them, and what does it mean to you?
For them, it's emotional. They saw the phase where gaming didn't look like a “real” career. When the house started taking shape, I think that's when they fully understood the scale of what this journey became. For me, it's about security. It feels good knowing that something I built online has created stability offline for my family.
When did you first start imagining this home? Was there a specific moment during your journey when you said, "One day, I'm building this"?
When Jio made the internet accessible and I started watching creators globally, that's when the idea planted itself. I used to see their setups and think, one day I want something like this. I didn't know how or when. I never really plan five years ahead. I just focus on the next video. But somewhere in my mind, I always knew I wanted a proper space dedicated to gaming and content.
Tell us everything about India's biggest gaming room, what went into designing it, how long it took, and what feature are you most proud of?
The idea was simple. If I'm building it, it should be world-class. We spent months planning the layout, lighting angles, acoustics, and display placement. It's not just about putting expensive hardware in one room. It's about how everything works together. The lighting is layered and fully synced. The automation makes transitions seamless during streams. I'm most proud of how immersive it feels. The moment you walk in, you know it's built for gaming.
Your home is fully automated with voice controls, synced lighting, and a creator workspace. How do you see this tech setup changing the quality and scale of your content?
Earlier, I focused only on gameplay and personality. Now, the environment adds another layer. With automation, I can change moods instantly during live streams. Lighting, ambience, everything responds in seconds. It improves production quality without breaking the natural flow. It also allows me to experiment more creatively.
Growing up, gaming wasn't exactly seen as a serious career. How did you convince yourself, and perhaps your family, to keep going?
Honestly, I didn't convince anyone with big speeches. I just kept working. When I started earning, even small amounts, it slowly changed perspectives. My family saw consistency. They saw discipline. For me, the fascination started when I saw lakhs of people watching someone play games online. I thought, if they can do it, why not me? That belief was enough to keep going.
You recently pulled 130,000 concurrent viewers on a live stream. What was going through your mind in that moment, and did you ever imagine reaching that kind of scale? Does numbers matter to you at this stage of your career?
At that moment, I was just focused on the stream. Later, when I processed it, it felt huge. I never imagined that scale when I started. Of course, numbers matter because they show impact, but more than that, it's about connection. That many people choose to spend time with you is special.
There are thousands of kids in small towns right now dreaming of doing what you do. What's the one thing you'd want them to hear from your story?
You don't need perfect equipment to start. I didn't have it. Start with what you have. Learn trends. Observe creators. Improve your personality because in the end, that's what people connect with. And most importantly, be patient. Growth online is not magic. It's repetition and belief.
