'Bigg Boss 19': Kunickaa Sadanand's son Ayaan Lall Calls Out Farrhana Bhatt for 'Flop' Comment

You were on the recent Weekend Ka Vaar. It was a very emotional episode with Salman Khan himself being teary-eyed. How was that entire experience?

Standing next to Salman Khan was a blessing. Sharing the stage with him and seeing my mother made me forget everything else. I kept thinking about what to say to motivate her, because the only thing we have from outside is to push her story forward. That experience made me realize how much I truly love my mom. When she's inside Bigg Boss, it feels like she's not at home. You can't talk or touch her. It made me think about what it would be like if she weren't around at all. It was a very emotional realization.

You motivated your mother on Weekend Ka Vaar. Do you think that was the push she needed, and now the audience will see her real game?

Yes, she's not very vocal about her struggles because she feels it's important for someone else to share her story. In that moment, I realized how much she's been through, so somebody had to come and tell her story. People call her a flop actress, but do they know she was trying to pay for her son's court case? She spent all her money on Mumbai-Delhi flights, doing character roles just to earn. Character actors are actors too; just because it's not the lead role doesn't mean it's not acting.

Farhana called her a flop actress on the show. How do you see such comments made about other contestants?

'Bigg Boss' is about being seen and showing your true personality while playing the game. People will do whatever it takes to win. I will do whatever it takes to make my mother win. I understand Farhana might have said things in the heat of the moment, but if it's not in your heart, it won't come out. She thought it, so it came out.

Some viewers allege that you and your mother are playing the sympathy card. How do you respond to that?

If I had come on the show, cracking jokes and people connected, would they call it the comedy card? Everything cannot be a card. If you think my mother wasn't real, that's your opinion, but when I saw my mother, I knew how I felt. Try being without your mother for 16-17 days, then you will understand how it feels. People can say whatever they want, but emotions are real.

You urged your mother to play for herself rather than emotionally. Was that missing?

Yes, this has been missing for 61 years of her life. She's never done anything solely for herself. She lived for her father, her two husbands, her children, and her grandchildren. This is the first time I've told her to do something for herself.

By chance, if your mother is not winning, who do you see as a winner apart from her in this rare situation? And why so? I know your mother is a winner for you, but still.

I think the way Gaurav Khanna will start playing now, after what Salman Khan sir told him, is something to reckon with. I don't know his wife or family personally, but we hear chatter from the families. I know Anam is handling Gorav's work and pushing for him, but I've heard a lot about his wife. If Gorav wins, it will be because of his wife, not because of the game exactly, but because of what she does outside the house for him. We call it the game, but it's really the support system outside.
