What's the most adventurous food you've ever tried?

The most adventurous food I recently tried was Avocado Gol-gappa, which was very adventurous for me.

What's a dish you're still trying to master in the kitchen?

The dish I'm trying to master is Sushi, if I could create something better around it.

What's one food you loved as a child but don't enjoy anymore?

Just because of diet, and I don't want to gain weight, is Mooli ka Paratha.

Have you ever had a food disaster while cooking?

Very early in age because I got married at 21, so cooking at that age, not really, but I think one thing I created a disaster was trying to make white chana just like how they make it outside in the market, putting too much oil and Masala into it, and creating a hot dish.

What's your go-to comfort food when stressed?

Sindhi Kadi and rice which my mother makes.

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be?

I would like to have dinner with Raja Ravi Varma because I've a great passion towards art, and I feel that the way he has sensualized women, I would have requested him to make a portrait of me while I'm having the food.

What's the biggest food trend you're skeptical about?,

Pancakes, I just feel that it has so many calories and stuff which is not great for the body, and people keep eating them endlessly.

What's your favorite dessert, and do you have a sweet tooth?

I do have a sweet tooth; I just love it. I can't pick one as a favorite, but if I have to choose, it will be Rasmallai, and the Oberoi hotel next to my home makes the best Rasmallai.

If you could invent a new dish, what would it be?

It will be around Sindhi Cuisine, which is amazingly delicious but not very well spread. I would like to create something around that with something in Kulhad with buge chawal and sai bhaji.
