Florian Hurel: It's Satisfying To Create A Look That Gets Noticed Or Appreciated

French hair and make-up artist Florian Hurel says that client satisfaction is very important for a hairstylist. He adds that he wants also to inspire other stylists with his looks.

"It's satisfying to create a look that gets noticed or appreciated. As hair artists, we like to please our clients. The most important thing is to please them so that they can feel nice and confident about their looks. We are somewhere helping an individual to feel nice about themselves, at least with their hair. I like to create looks that inspire other artists. It's very satisfying when you work with a model/celebrity client and inspire other hair artists to do the same and get some kind of inspiration from each look. If I'm achieving a bit of the above, I am happy as an individual," he says.

He adds, "When you create a look, you don't only want to make something fashionable or do something that's in, but you do a creative thing that suits an individual and ensure you are good with the look you have created for them. The salon hair artist is an artist who needs to study face morphology and, at times, needs to cut hair while taking care of a body shape or face shape. As well as when they design colour placements. They have to take care of their skin tone, etc. It's very important to study the job well and master a subject."
