Reality show drama rarely stays limited to the screen, and 'The 50' seems to be proving exactly that. After Ridhima Pandit sent a legal notice to co-contestant Vanshaj Singh over alleged online harassment, the latter has now responded publicly on social media, addressing the accusations and defending his actions.
Ridhima Pandit Sends Legal Notice to Vanshaj Singh:
The dispute stems from tensions between the two contestants during the reality show. Ridhima recently took legal action against Vanshaj, alleging that the remarks he made about her during the show led to online bullying by his followers. According to her claims, the situation escalated to the point where she began receiving abusive messages and even rape threats.
Vanshaj Singh Hits Back:
In response, Vanshaj posted a video clip from 'The 50' on his social media account. Along with the video, he wrote, “Me after 1 legal notice by Ridhima, best actress in the world." In the clip, he addressed the controversy and spoke about the exchanges that took place during the show.

Explaining his side of the story, Vanshaj said, “Mai ek reality show mein jata hoon, waha pe mujhe dhappa, aukaat kya hai, badtameez ye sab bola gaya. Maine respond kiya ‘aunty' bol ke…Mere ko legal notice bhej diya."
"Aapne Mujhe Kaha Tha Na Ki Teri Aukaat Kya Hai..."
He also claimed that the legal notice accused him of spreading hate against Ridhima online. Vanshaj denied this allegation, stating that he had only been sharing footage from the show's episodes on his social media platforms.
Addressing the accusations, he added, “Agar aap usme bure dikh raha ho to shayad aap bure ho."
Vanshaj further maintained that he had not encouraged harassment and was merely posting clips from the show. Referring to a comment he said Ridhima had made earlier, he stated, “Aapne mujhe kaha tha na ki teri aukaat kya hai, phir aap jab show se bahar aaye aapne dekh li meri aukaat kya hai. To isme meri kya galti hai."
During his response, Vanshaj also questioned the support Ridhima had received from other contestants on the show, asking her to name even one participant who had publicly backed her.
"Mujhe Farak Bhi Nahi Padta..."
Despite the legal notice, Vanshaj said he would continue to speak his mind and would not be intimidated. He concluded his video by saying, “Mujhe farak bhi nahi padta," before making a gesture towards those criticising him.
Ridhima's legal notice came after she alleged that Vanshaj's comments during 'The 50' triggered a wave of targeted abuse online. According to her, the harassment escalated beyond trolling and included threatening messages.
