Vanshaj Singh Confronts Karan Patel on His Comments Against Influencers

The reality show 'The 50' has officially wrapped up its shooting schedule, bringing the competition closer to its much-awaited conclusion. Contestants Shiv Thakare, Mr. Faisu, and Krishna Shroff emerged as the top three finalists of the season.

Although the winner was not announced during the finale shoot, strong rumours circulating online suggest that Shiv Thakare may have lifted the trophy, much to the excitement of his fans. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.

Karan Patel and Vanshaj Singh Re-Enter as Wild Cards:

In a dramatic twist in a recent episode, actor Karan Patel and social media influencer Vanshaj Singh returned to the show as wildcard contestants. Before earning their way back into the competition, Vanshaj confronted Karan over remarks made earlier in the season about social media influencers.

During the initial episodes, Karan, along with Prince Narula, had commented on how influencers were dividing the market for actors, even questioning their acting abilities beyond short-form content.

Vanshaj Calls Out Karan Patel's Comment on Influencers:

Addressing the issue, Vanshaj openly told Karan, “You disrespected our field." Standing by his earlier stance, Karan replied, “Yes, I said our market got divided. I stand by what I said." Vanshaj further argued that actors benefited from influencer collaborations and questioned Karan's contradiction, adding that the comment made him “look very small."

Vanshaj Questions His Eviction:

Vanshaj also raised concerns about his early elimination from the show, asking Karan why he was evicted on the very first day. Expressing his disappointment, he said, “My chance was stolen, I wasn't judged based on my performance." He accused the makers of focusing on interactions rather than task performance, adding, “You stole my chance. I didn't deserve that."

Despite the tension, the task ended on a surprising note. Karan won his re-entry spot but requested that Vanshaj also be given a chance. The makers accepted the request, allowing both contestants to rejoin the show.
