Poonam Pandey's Death Controversy: Karan Kundrra, Munawar Faruqui & Others Slam Her

Social media influencer and actor Poonam Pandey, who recently made headlines with her fake death stint is now facing severe backlash. Karan Kundrra, Abhinav Shukla, Munawar Faruqui, Pooja Bhatt, Kushal Tandon, and others called out Pandey for faking the death and making a mockery of such a sensitive issue.

Karan Kundrra:

Karan Kundrra, who working with her 'Lock Upp 1' slammed her on X platform and wrote, “Wahh didi wahhhhh.. aur wahhh tumhari PR agency.. jo bhi phook rahe ho tum log immediately bandh kar do!!! You've royally managed to turn a social cause into a laughing matter! Sometimes bad publicity is actually bad publicity..!”

Munawar Faruqui: 

Munawar Faraqui was a co-contestant with Poonam in the reality show. He called out her on X, he wrote, "Poonam ki PR team ko cancer nahi bawasir hua hai."

Kushal Tandon: 

Kushal Tandon called it stupid and lame to fake death mentioned that it is alarming and sought legal action against her and her PR team.

Abhinav Shukla: 

Abhinav Shukla has lashed out at her and mentioned that she had done fraud. He wrote, "Basically what she has done is a fraud, breach of public goodwill and trust! Marginal gain in followers and morbid publicity will cost her if someone files an FIR!"

Pooja Bhatt:

Pooja Bhatt called this incident an absolute disgrace. She tweeted, "I never delete tweets but did so in the case where I expressed my shock at the news of Poonam Pandey's demise due to cervical cancer. Why? Turns out the news was engineered by a digital/PR team. Absolute disgrace & disservice to those battling the same included."

About the Controversy: 

On Feb 2, a post was published on the actor's Instagram page announcing her death due to cervical cancer. But later in a video statement that she posted on social media on Saturday, Poonam declared that she is still alive.
