Singer Neha Bhasin has stirred the controversy by calling out influencer Nancy Tyagi for allegedly misrepresenting her Cannes 2025 outfit as self-stitched. Neha took to Instagram to point out the uncanny similarity between a corset worn by Nancy on the red carpet and one she herself had donned months earlier.

The drama escalated when it was revealed that the outfit had not been hand-stitched by Nancy, as her emotional Instagram caption had suggested. Instead, Surbhi Gupta, the founder of The Source Bombay — a boutique store in Bandra — confirmed to The Free Press Journal that the corset dress had been purchased by Nancy for Rs 25,000 prior to Cannes. Gupta clarified that although Nancy may have added a cape to personalize the outfit, the main piece was undeniably a creation of their store. “There was no barter or collaboration. She bought it, so of course she can wear it how she wants — but it's our design," she said.
