Kushal Tandon Denies Flirting With Shreya Kalra: "My Breakup With Shivangi Had Nothing To Do With Her..."

Kushal Tandon has strongly denied claims made by influencer Shreya Kalra on 'Lock Upp 2', where she alleged that he had flirted with her through Instagram DMs while he was reportedly dating Shivangi Joshi. Addressing the controversy, Kushal clarified that the allegations are baseless and insisted that Shreya had no role in his breakup with Shivangi.

Shreya's Claims Spark Controversy:

The controversy began after Shreya Kalra, during her appearance on 'Lock Upp 2', claimed that Kushal Tandon had messaged her on Instagram after they worked together on a promotional shoot for 'Barsaatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka'. She also suggested that the interaction took place while Kushal was in a relationship with Shivangi Joshi.

Her statements quickly caught attention online, leading to widespread speculation about whether the alleged interaction played a role in Kushal and Shivangi's breakup.

Kushal Denies Breakup Rumours:

Reacting to the claims in a conversation with Zoom, Kushal said he was initially confused when he first heard about Shreya's remarks. “I didn't even know her (Shreya Kalra) full name. When I was told about her commenting about me in Lock Upp, I first thought, ‘Who is she?' Then, I remembered her,” said Kushal.

He firmly dismissed any suggestion that Shreya had anything to do with his split from Shivangi Joshi. “Firstly, she said that my breakup with Shivangi happened because of her, which is not at all true,” said Kushal.

The Promo Shoot Connection:

Explaining how he knew Shreya, Kushal recalled meeting her during the first promotional shoot of 'Barsaatein Mausam Pyaar Ka'. According to him, her appearance in the promo was brief, and the two only interacted during filming.

Kushal shared that they spoke casually on set, during which Shreya expressed disappointment about the limited nature of her role in the promo.

Details Of The Instagram Message:

Addressing the alleged DMs, Kushal claimed that Shreya was the one who reached out to him first.

“I got a message from her on Instagram thanking me for being a ‘nice person'. I replied to her, ‘Dude, you can do much better. You can do very good. You should not have done this small role of passing by seeing the actor.' That's it. I didn't even have a single word with her apart from that. I never DMed her,” he said.

The actor further challenged Shreya to publicly share any proof if she believes otherwise, stating that she should release the alleged messages if they contain any evidence of flirting.
