Akanksha Choudhary Gets Candid About Shreya Kalra: "I See Her As An Acquaintance..."

Akanksha Choudhary has finally opened up about her current equation with 'Lock Upp 2' winner Shreya Kalra. While the two contestants had several clashes during their time on the reality show, Akanksha says there is no bad blood between them anymore. However, she clarified that their relationship has not developed into a friendship either.

In a recent conversation with Team Varinder Chawla, Akanksha revealed that she recently met Shreya at a party and the interaction was cordial, signaling that both have moved past their differences from the show.

Recent Meeting:

When asked if things had been sorted between them after 'Lock Upp 2', Akanksha shared that they had a positive interaction when they crossed paths recently.

“Shreya was at the party yesterday, and we hugged and met as well. I also met her boyfriend."

She explained that while there is no animosity between them, she does not see their bond growing beyond a basic level of acquaintance. According to Akanksha, her feelings towards Shreya remain neutral, much like they were during the show.

“I had said this during the show to Madhuri ji- I neither hate Shreya nor do I love her. There is no hatred, but there is no positivity either. I am neutral," she said.

Relationship Status:

Further elaborating on where things stand now, Akanksha said that she has no intention of building a deeper connection but is happy to remain civil whenever they meet.

“I see her as an acquaintance. If I happen to see her somewhere, I will smile. That's about it. I don't want to have any deeper relationship with her, but we were civil yesterday. We hugged, sorted things out and congratulated each other," said Akanksha.

Happy For Shreya's Victory:

Despite their disagreements inside the reality show, Akanksha admitted that she was genuinely pleased to see Shreya lift the winner's trophy. She felt that among the contestants, only a few truly wanted the title.

“And honestly, somewhere I was happy that someone from a reality show had won. Throughout the show, apart from me, Yogesh Rawat and Shreya, nobody wanted to win more than us. So I was genuinely happy about that," she said.

Akanksha also maintained that most of their confrontations originated from Shreya's side and that she merely responded. Nonetheless, she stressed that the drama belonged to the show and that she has chosen to leave it in the past and focus on herself moving forward.
