As we know, IndiGo's flight interruption entered their eighth day on Tuesday, 9 December, leaving thousands of passengers in trouble and frustrated across India. The airline pointed out crew shortages and scheduling challenges as the main reasons for flight delays and cancellations. Meanwhile, comedian Samay Raina made light of the situation in a hilarious viral video, blaming the problems on Monal Kohli, a contestant from the popular Funny and witty show 'India's Got Latent'.

In the video, Samay Raina is seen comfortably seated on an IndiGo flight, scrolling through his phone. The moment took a funny turn when Monal Kohli boarded the flight. Kohli smiled and waved politely, triggering a flashback for Samay. He remembered Kohli's claim on the show that a strange coincidence seemed to follow him wherever he went, schools, workplaces, and even TV sets would mysteriously shut down after his arrival.

The video quickly cuts to news clips showing IndiGo's massive flight cancellations. The Gurugram-based airline, partly owned by Rahul Bhatia, has faced severe criticism for canceling hundreds of flights since 2 December. The disruptions were linked to regulatory changes affecting pilots' flight duty hours, which led to a shortage of available crew and thousands of passengers stranded across airports in India.

For the first few days, IndiGo remained largely silent about the scale of the disruption. On Friday, the airline made a record cancellation of 1,600 flights , the highest in Indian aviation history. CEO Pieter Elbers issued an apology video, acknowledging the inconvenience caused to passengers.

Now, in a humorous twist, Samay Raina jokingly linked Kohli's jinx to the ongoing IndiGo flight cancellation, making the video an instant hit online.
