Hina Khan, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is undergoing treatment, attended an awareness event in the city today, where she spoke about the need to be vigilant about one's body and to undergo regular tests.
"It's Important To Be Vigilant About Your Body"
Speaking at the event, Hina Khan shared, “It's important to be vigilant about your body. We need to listen to our bodies; they give us signals. Mine did. I didn't have a lump that had developed, so this was a signal. We all get different kinds of signals, so we have to listen to our bodies and be mindful and vigilant enough to understand that kuch toh galat hai."
She further continued and spoke about the need to get tested regularly every six months after a certain age and said, “Meri theory thodi alag hai. I would say after you cross a certain age mark, get tested once every six months. What's the big deal? Just do it."

"We Don't Have To Fear This Disease..."
Hina, who is still undergoing treatment, also spoke about how she feels worthless on some days and all pumped up on others. She said, “We don't have to fear this disease; we have to normalize it. In my case, I am still undergoing treatment, and there are days when I feel worthless, but there are also days when I feel so charged up. I packed up at 2 a.m. yesterday, slept for a couple of hours, got up at 6, got ready, all glammed up, this is my life, and I love it. This is how I want to look at it."
Hina Khan is currently seen in the Colors TV show 'Pati Patni Aur Panga' alongside her real-life partner, Rocky Jaiswal. The couple's reality show is winning audiences with its star-studded cast and fun challenges. Hosted by the ever-beautiful Sonali Bendre and stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui, the show gives audiences a front-row seat into the lives of their favourite celebrity couples.
