Asim Riaz Takes A Dig At Rubina Dilaik, Hina Khan; Calls Them "TV Industry Aunties"

Asim Riaz has reacted strongly to comments made by Rubina Dilaik and Hina Khan regarding his behaviour on reality shows. Without directly naming the actresses, the former 'Bigg Boss 13' contestant took a dig at them on social media, calling them “TV industry aunties and uncles” and accusing them of being “puppets of the industry.”

The latest exchange comes after Rubina and Hina discussed Asim on the podcast The4POV, where they spoke about his conduct during reality shows and questioned the impact it had on his career.

Asim Riaz Calls Out Critics:

Taking to X, Asim shared a strongly-worded note that appeared to be directed at Rubina and Hina. Defending his contribution to the reality shows he has been part of, he wrote, “I saw another clip from a podcast where these TV industry aunties and uncles were talking about how I bring TRP to every reality show I do. Well, the answer is YES, I DO. Good luck with your careers n keep playing your roles and being puppets in the industry."

His remarks quickly grabbed attention online, reigniting discussions around his controversial stint on reality television and his often headline-making statements.

Rubina Dilaik Questions Asim's Conduct:

During her appearance on The4POV podcast, Rubina Dilaik was critical of Asim's behaviour and dismissed his claims of being the driving force behind a show's success.

Speaking about him, Rubina said, “He claimed that he was the TRP on the shows, for him Bigg Boss became such a hit, and Khatron Ke Khiladi became hyped. Because of him, Battleground was this… really? Jis thaali mein khata hain uss thaali mein thukta hain (He spits on the same plate from where he eats). Woh itni badtameezi se creatives se baat karta tha mujhe genuinely bohot bura lagta hai (The horrible way in which he used to speak to creatives, it really hurt me)."

She also stressed the importance of respecting the team behind a reality show, adding, “The show on which I am working, I will always respect the team that makes it work in the first place. They are my family. How can anyone question them and abuse them so many times? Everyone used to make him understand… unfortunately, a reality show, and where is he today?" Hina Khan agreed with Rubina's observations during the discussion.

Asim And Himanshi's Fallout Continues:

Apart from his clash with Rubina and Hina, Asim has also been making headlines over his public fallout with former girlfriend Himanshi Khurana. The former couple has recently exchanged statements regarding their breakup and the circumstances surrounding it.

Asim recently denied allegations that he pressured Himanshi to change her religion and claimed he possesses proof showing she wanted to rekindle their relationship. Himanshi, however, maintained that she also has evidence and would speak up if her image continues to be tarnished. The two ended their nearly four-year relationship in December 2023, reportedly due to differences in religious beliefs.
