Popular Brazilian influencer Luana Andrade, 29, has sadly passed away following complications during knee liposuction surgery in Sao Paulo. The procedure took a devastating turn, leading to four cardiac arrests.
Complications During Surgery:
According to media reports in Marca, approximately two and a half hours into the surgery, Luana's heart stopped functioning, prompting doctors to halt the fat removal process and initiate resuscitation efforts. Despite their attempts, she was subsequently transferred to the intensive care unit for further medical intervention.
Grim Diagnosis Revealed:
Medical investigations later unveiled a grim diagnosis: Luana Andrade suffered from a pulmonary embolism linked to thrombosis, revealing the severity of the situation. The hospital released a statement, revealing, "The surgery was interrupted, and the patient underwent tests that revealed massive thrombosis. She was transferred to the ICU where she underwent medication and hemodynamic treatment."
Boyfriend's Heartfelt Tribute:
Expressing deep grief, Luana's boyfriend, Joao Hadad, shared on Instagram, "I am torn apart and living my biggest nightmare. A part of me left."
He added, "We built a beautiful story and lived our dreams intensely. In addition to being a girlfriend, you are and will always be a partner beyond life, my love. ... You are my light, princess. I ask that you continue to watch over me and all of us from above. I will always love you, from now until eternity!"

Condolences flooded social media as fans discovered Luana had posted pictures on Instagram just two days before her tragic passing. The comment section overflowed with messages of shock and condolences.
Known for her massive social media following, Luana Andrade was also a participant in the reality show Power Couple Brasil 6, which aired in 2022. The influencer's sudden demise has left a void in the online community.
