Comedian Bharti Singh was moved to tears after watching Mohit Suri's latest romantic drama 'Saiyaara', starring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. In a heartfelt vlog, Bharti documented her rare late-night movie outing with husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa—and how it turned unexpectedly emotional.
Bharti Singh Is In Tears!
The video captures Bharti wiping away tears inside the theatre. As the credits rolled and the couple stepped out, she reflected on the impact the film had on her. “What a film, yaar," she said, visibly overwhelmed. “I cried two to three times. The ending was really good—a happy one. After so many years, Mohit Suri sir made a film and absolutely nailed it. It's a very emotional film. A must-watch."
"You All Should Definitely Go See It..."
The couple admitted they hadn't watched a late-night movie in years but were glad they made an exception for Saiyaara. "We actually felt like—why did we watch it so late?" Bharti quipped. "You all should definitely go see it. Those who are in love will truly connect with it. After so many years, Mohit sir returned to the field and hit a sixer right away. The songs are also really good."
The deeply emotional narrative of 'Saiyaara' has been drawing comparisons to Mohit Suri's iconic 'Aashiqui 2', with fans and critics lauding its raw sentiment and haunting music. The film tells the story of Krish Kapoor (played by Ahaan), an aspiring singer, and Vaani Batra (Aneet), a once-renowned vocalist who has transitioned into a lyricist. When the two are brought together for a song collaboration, what starts as creative synergy gradually blossoms into a romance steeped in love, loss, and longing.
Within just a few days of its release, 'Saiyaara' has struck a powerful chord with audiences, earning over ₹150 crore at the box office and cementing its place as one of 2025's biggest hits.
The film also features Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola, and Shaad Randhawa in pivotal roles. With its soulful soundtrack, poetic storytelling, and breakout performances, 'Saiyaara' is not just a love story, it's an emotional experience.
