Avneet Kaur on Trolling Post Virat Kohli Controversy: "So Much Has Happened..."

Avneet Kaur has recently opened up about the backlash after an Instagram like by Virat Kohli. She said there were times when she felt low, but having her family around helped. She also requested trollers not to spread hate but positivity as much as they can.

Avneet Kaur on Backlash Post Virat Kohli Controversy:

Speaking to News18, she said, "So much has happened that at this point, I don't even know what to say. But there's one thing I would want to mention… Having my family around really helps. There are times when I feel low, and I keep thinking about these things. But thankfully, I've my family around me to constantly remind me of those days when I wanted to achieve my dreams."

She added, "They tell me to never forget my days of hard work. That's the reason trolls don't affect me as much as they used to do earlier. I grew up in front of the camera. At that time, things were a little difficult. But now, I'm fine."

"Please Don't Spread Hate..."

She continued, "I just want to tell everyone to not spread hate but positivity as much as they can. I'm not saying that they need to keep praising me all the time and tell me, ‘Arrey waah, aap toh badhiya hai, aap ne toh kamaal kar diya!' One can also be neutral. I believe that you don't need to put someone down while expressing your opinions of them."

About the Controversy:

It all began when Avneet shared a set of pictures in a green top and a printed wrap skirt on Instagram. While the post gained the usual fan love, what drew attention was a like from Virat. Soon after, however, the like disappeared. After brutal trolling, Virat had responded to trolls, blaming the accidental interaction with Avneet's post on the algorithm of his Instagram handle.

She began her journey in the entertainment industry as a child artist on television before transitioning to films. Her first lead role came with 'Tiku Weds Sheru', co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and produced by Kangana Ranaut.
