About the Controversy:
It all began when Avneet shared a set of pictures in a green top and a printed wrap skirt on Instagram. While the post gained the usual fan love, what drew attention was a like from Virat. Soon after, however, the like disappeared.

Viral Kohli's Clarification:
After brutal trolling, Virat had responded to trolls, blaming the accidental interaction with Avneet's post on the algorithm of his Instagram handle. He had shared a long note of clarification on his Instagram story. This post read, “I'd like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding." Anushka Sharma, on the other hand, did not comment on the controversy.
Boost in Avneet Kaur's Brand Value:
After the accidental like by Virat on Avneet Kaur's picture, and the fiasco that followed, her brand value increased by 30%.
On the Work Front:
Avneet Kaur is currently gearing up for the release of her international film 'Love in Vietnam'. She began her journey in the entertainment industry as a child artist on television before transitioning to films. Her first lead role came with 'Tiku Weds Sheru', co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and produced by Kangana Ranaut.
