Aly Goni Opens Up About Rejecting Jasmin Bhasin's Love Proposal Initially: "I Said No..."

Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin have been setting relationship goals for years. While the two are now stronger than ever, Aly recently revealed that their love story did not begin with an instant “yes.” In a candid conversation on the latest episode of ‘Alliance', the actor shared that he had initially turned down Jasmin's proposal despite their close friendship.

Proposal Surprise:

During a chat with rapper Bali and content creator Ruhee Dosani, Aly opened up about the early days of his relationship with Jasmin. Recalling the moment she confessed her feelings, he shared, “Jasmin, she proposed me on 31st December 2018.”

The revelation first melted hearts, with Ruhee reacting, “Aww, that's so sweet.” However, the mood quickly changed when Aly disclosed that he had rejected the proposal. Surprised by the confession, Ruhee immediately said, “That's not very sweet.”

Aly laughed at the reaction before explaining the reason behind his decision.

Why Aly Said No:

The actor revealed that he did not want to rush into a serious relationship. According to Aly, many people get into relationships quickly only to realize later that their feelings have changed. Wanting to be completely sure before making such an important commitment, he decided against saying yes right away.

Over time, however, he began to notice how consistently Jasmin stood by him and cared for him through every situation. Those moments gradually changed his perspective and made him rethink his feelings.

From Best Friends To Partners:

Talking about their bond, Aly emphasized the importance of friendship in a successful relationship. He said, "I think ek best friend se shaadi karna duniya mein sabse acha option hai kyunki she known you inside and out."

He further revealed that Jasmin knows him better than anyone else and understands every aspect of his personality. Sharing a humorous detail from their relationship, Aly said, "Woh bolti hai sabko mujhe isko manane mein 2 saal lag gaye."

Praising Jasmin for her strength and unwavering support, Aly admitted that it took him nearly two years to fully realize how deeply she cared for him. Reflecting on that realization, he recalled thinking, "Isse acha kya milega."

Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin first met on ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi' in 2018 and later fell in love during ‘Bigg Boss 14'. The couple has been together ever since and has been living together for the past year.
