Chef Saransh Goila has scored very big, both on the field and of course in the kitchen!
Celebrating Goila Butter Chicken's (GBC) launch at the Fulham Pier inside Fulham FC's iconic stadium, he has unveiled a much bolder new fusion dish: Butter Tortellini.
Blending well the Italian technique with some Indian soul, this creation perfectly marks the entry of one of India's all-time favourite comfort food brands into the English Premier League.
The result: Goila's Butter Tortellini—an audacious mix-up of his cult-favourite butter-chicken gravy with a spinach-green tortellini stuffed well with some chicken (or paneer) tikka.
Why This Dish Matters-
Premier League Milestone- Goila Butter Chicken (GBC) eventually becomes one of the first ever Indian brands to launch inside an EPL stadium; the Butter Tortellini is its perfect edible celebration.
Fusion Done Right- Classic North-Indian makhani gravy gets well a smoky coal finish touch, then hugs the pliant spinach pasta pockets, a plate that loudly screams “London-meets-Mumbai.”
Recipe Built for Home Cooks- Every step is already share-ready: blanch-purée spinach for the emerald dough, pressure-cook well a one-pot masala base, and boil well the filled tortellini in just only two minutes.
90-Second Cooking Snapshot-
Spinach Dough: blanch the palak → purée → knead well with maida & salt.
Gravy: pressure-cook the tomatoes, onions, whole spices, and cashews → make purée → finish with some butter, cream, honey, kasuri methi, and a good coal smoke.
Tortellini: roll the dough → cut some squares → fill it with chicken/paneer tikka → fold & boil well.
Plating: dunk tortellini in a smoky gravy, swirl the cream, drizzle some chilli oil, crown it with sirke-wala pyaaz. Delishaaas!
From perfectly standing on the pitch at the Fulham FC to redefining the Indian fusion with his signature flair, Saransh Goila's Butter Tortellini is much more than just a regular dish, it's also a celebration of the Indian culinary pride on a wide international stage.
Whether you're in London or your own home kitchen, this is quite a comforting, creative recipe that is your best ticket to a flavour-packed matchday experience.
