Fashion Stylist Mohit Kapoor Shares Insights On How To Rock The Floral Saree Look This Festive Season

Floral sarees have found their way back into the spotlight, adorning Bollywood actresses on and off the screen, and have captured the attention of fashion enthusiasts, and the industry's fashion guru. Mohit Kapoor, Founder and Director of Moda Fashion Week and Awards shares his valuable insights on embracing this trend.

When asked about his thoughts on floral sarees, Mohit says, "Floral sarees are currently a prominent trend, especially for the festive season. I highly recommend them. You can pair them with deep V-neck blouses or even a bandhgala," he suggests, offering a range of styles to suit different preferences. To maintain a balanced look, he advises against heavy makeup, particularly when wearing a floral sari.

For daytime events, Mohit recommends choosing pastel colors to complement the floral pattern. In contrast, for evening occasions, brighter colors can be an excellent choice to make a statement. To complete the look, he suggests wearing bold jewelry but cautions against using jewelry with floral motifs, as the sari itself already boasts a floral theme.

When it comes to hairstyles, Mohit suggests avoiding floral accessories but encourages the use of a Gajra to add a touch of elegance to the overall look. To achieve a harmonious appearance, he emphasizes the importance of opting for nude makeup.

He also advises against glittery heels and suggests nude-colored or matching footwear to maintain a coherent ensemble, incorporating temple jewelry that can elevate the entire look, and matching bangles with statement rings.
