Best Time to Visit

The ideal months to visit the Philippines are December to May. The weather is excellent, with little rain throughout this period, making it ideal for outdoor and beach activities.

Flights and Visa

There are no direct flights to the Philippines. Anu suggests that you start your journey from Manila rather than Cebu. Regarding visas, Indian citizens can now apply for an E-visa to enter; or, if they have Japanese, Australian, Singaporean, British, or United States of America visas, they can enter visa-free for a period of up to 14 days.

Recommended Itinerary

Day 1 & 2 – Cebu

Visit Cebu Island and visit the Moalbol area. You can go sardine or scuba diving. Canyoneering is also a must-do activity.

Day 3 & 4 – Bohol

Then head to Bohol. Climb the stunning Chocolate Hills, relax on the stunning beaches, and enjoy the native wildlife. From Bohol, head to Palawan Island to visit the stunning Coron region.

Day 5 & 6 – Coron

Stay in Coron for two days. Take a private boat tour to see the lagoons or a boat expedition if you can afford it. You can travel from Coron to El Nido.

Day 7 & 8 – El Nido 

El Nido is famous for its isolated islands. Take Tours A and C to visit some of the most breathtaking sites. The next day, visit Puerto Princesa to visit the world's largest underground river. If time permits, visit Siargao Island or Boracay, which have stunning beaches and lively night life.

This travel itinerary ensures that one gets to experience the best of the Philippines in a week.
