Uorfi Javed Reveals Real Reason Behind Swollen Face', Dismisses Fillers Rumours

Uorfi Javed has once again addressed speculation surrounding her past appearance, clarifying misconceptions about her visibly swollen face from 1.5 years ago. The reality TV star took to Instagram to share a video revisiting those old photos, which had earlier sparked rumours suggesting that cosmetic fillers had gone wrong.

Clearing the air, Uorfi firmly dismissed such claims and revealed the actual reason behind her appearance at the time. “So this was my face 1.5 years ago when everyone said it was ‘fillers gone wrong'. And this is how I look right now. What you were seeing earlier was because of high cortisol and stress. To those who were saying I got fillers or did something, I didn't get anything done. My face had just swollen up," she said in the video, putting an end to long-standing assumptions.

Health Issues Behind The Swelling:
Uorfi further revealed that the swelling was not cosmetic but linked to underlying health issues. She shared that prolonged stress and elevated cortisol levels played a significant role, along with her struggle with allergies. The actress mentioned that she is allergic to cats and has three at home, which further worsened her condition.

“I am also allergic to cats, and I have three cats at home. Slowly, I realised that all these were the issues. Earlier, whenever I went to the doctors, they would say it's a sinus problem, but no one was able to clearly identify what was wrong. By the time I finally found out, I already had three cats at home," she added.

Lifestyle Changes And Recovery:
Uorfi also spoke about the steps she has taken to improve her health and overall well-being. She now focuses on maintaining a healthier lifestyle that includes regular workouts, weight training, proper eating habits, and medical treatment.

“Now I have started lifting weights, working out, and I am undergoing immunotherapy. I am also eating properly. Earlier, I didn't eat much because I wanted to stay very thin. Now I am focusing on wellness, and my face is better. So it was not any filler gone wrong," she said.

Responding to a user who referenced her past look, Uorfi reiterated, “The inflammation was not because of the fillers, that's what I meant."
