Wrestler and motivational speaker Sangram Singh has opened up about the real reason behind joining Bigg Boss. He was part of season 7 back in 2013 and admitted that his decision at the time was more practical than glamorous.

Sangram Singh On Why He Did 'Bigg Boss'

In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Singh said that while he had already been part of several reality shows, Bigg Boss came at a time when he had just bought a new house. With EMIs to pay, he saw the show as an opportunity for both financial stability and visibility.

“I have done many reality shows. I did Bigg Boss when I recently bought my house. I had to pay the EMI for it, so then I decided to go for it. I have seen Bigg Boss earlier and even watched a few episodes of the recent ones. When you join Bigg Boss, you get fame as well as money. I wanted to pay my EMI, that is why I decided to go for it," he revealed.

Sangram Singh on Divorce Rumors:

Earlier in July, Sangram Singh made the headlines after rumors about his separation from his wife and Payal Rohatgi started circulating.

On July 9, Singh put the speculations to rest with a statement, making it clear that there was no trouble in their marriage. “There is no talk of divorce between us. We have been together for 14 years and will always be. I keep all my focus on doing good work. I do not pay attention to these talks of divorce, and I will also request her not to believe in such rumors," he said.

Speculation grew stronger after Payal resigned from her role as director of the Sangram Singh Charitable Foundation. Addressing this, Singh maintained that it was her personal decision, and he respected it completely.

"This is Payal ji's decision, and I respect her decision. Both of us have different approaches to work. In such a situation, whatever Payal ji must have thought, she must have done it for the better. I wouldn't stop her. She is free to make her own decisions. There is no one wrong here. Every person is different," he explained.
