Rajiv Adatia's Indirect Dig on Celebs Going To Cannes; Shalini Passi Reacts

The 2025 Cannes Film Festival has officially ended, with the final ceremony on Saturday, May 24. A star-studded lineup from Bollywood, including Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore, Urvashi Rautela, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Karan Johar, among others, graced the event. Apart from them, several social media influencers like Shalini Passi, Nitibha Kaul, and Sarah Sarosh were among others who also showed up in style.

In this vein, Bigg Boss 15 fame Rajiv Adatia took a dig at many celebrities and influencers who attended the festival. He believes that it has become a random event now and compared Cannes to Mumbai's PVR Juhu theatre, where many celebrities watch films.

In an Instagram story, he wrote, “Going to Cannes was like a wow moment before! Now seeing this year, it's like going to PVR Juhu! Woh chale hum bhi chale (laughing emoticon)." Following this, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives star Shalini Passi, who also attended the film festival this year, dropped “laughing emoticons" on the post.

On the professional front, Rajiv last appeared as a finalist on the cooking-based show 'Celebrity MasterChef' India. In addition, 'Celebrity MasterChef' India 2025 also featured Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli, Faisal Shaikh (aka Mr. Faisu), Dipika Kakar, Ayesha Jhulka, Archana Gautam, Kabita Singh, Usha Nadkarni, Chandan Prabhakar, Gaurav Khanna, and Abhijeet Sawant.

The first season of the show was hosted by Farah Khan and judged by well-known chefs Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna. Gaurav won the renowned trophy, the Rs 20 lakh prize money, and the symbolic chef's coat. Apart from this, Adatia was also a part of the stunt-based reality television series Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 and the 15th season of Bigg Boss.
