Pahalgam Terrorist Attack: Elvish Yadav, Sushant Divgikar, And Others Condemn the Attack

Several social media personalities, Elvish Yadav, Sushant Divgikar, and Hina Khan, have come forward to condemn the Pahalgam terror attack. They expressed their deep grief and sorrow over the incident, while also demanding justice for the victims.

Elvish Yadav: "I Am Deeply Saddened..."

Elvish Yadav took to X and wrote, "I am deeply saddened by the news of the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. My deepest condolences to the peoples and their families who are affected by this act."

Sushant Divgikar Calls the Attack "Cowardly"

Expressing shock at the incident, Sushant Divgikar wrote, "Shocked and saddened by the cowardly and embarrassing terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.  My condolences to the innocent lives lost and their families.  Om Shanti."

Hina Khan Expresses Disbelief:

Taking to her official Instagram Stories, Hina Khan posted a note in which he expressed disbelief over the brutal attack. She wrote, "Pahalgam... Why... Why," along with breaking heart emojis.

"Cowardly Attack On Innocent Hindus..."

Devoleena Bhattacharjee condemned the attack and called it 'cowardly.' She wrote on X, "Let me rephrase it the way you like it…" Cowardly attack on innocent HINDU tourists in Kashmir by Pakistani-led Terrorists. They identified each one of them as Hindu and killed them ."

Pahalgam Terror Attack: 26 Tourists Killed

At least twenty-six people, mostly civilians, were reportedly gunned down by terrorists in the attack that took place on Tuesday afternoon near Pahalgam. While 20 others were injured. The incident occurred around 3 pm when terrorists came down from the mountain in Baisaran valley and started firing at tourists who frequent the place, which is often dubbed as 'mini-Switzerland' because of its long, lush green meadows. 

In the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi cut short his state visit to Saudi Arabia and decided to return to India. Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah described the terror attack as "much larger than anything we've seen directed at civilians in recent years".
